Went hiking today with my boyfriend and Pakie. Super fun! After the hike up, we ran down the mountain. It felt like we were flying. Too bad my boyfriend didn't get to join in since he was carrying his giant ruck (50lbs!)

Wattana planned a hike to Cedar Creek Falls today. Pretty awesome stuff! A good 4-5 mile hike with an awesome waterfall at the end. The uphill was slightly grueling, but totally worth it.

So I've been doing a lot of research about polynesian tattoos for a project I'm working on, and turtles are a huge symbol for Hawaiian tattoos. Sea turtles are a symbol of long life and fertility.
